My name is Irina and I am a master stylist at KORTELL House of Beauty salon. I have over 15 years of experience in the hairdressing industry. While I was born and raised in Ukraine, I have been living and working in Ireland for the past 16 years.

My love for hairdressing began in childhood. I always enjoyed watching the creation of beauty and started experimenting myself. I would cut and style anyone who would agree to my little experiments. It was especially satisfying to do hairstyles for myself and my sister.

Despite my mother working in a hospital and everyone around me predicting a similar fate for me, I continued to pursue my passion. I am grateful to my parents for allowing me to choose my profession and always supporting my decision to connect my life with the art of hairdressing.

After completing hairdressing college, I started working in a salon in my hometown, offering both cutting and makeup services. After three years there, I felt the desire for change and a need for further development. So, I decided to move to a neighboring city and work in a better and more upscale salon. There, I rapidly grew as a professional. I attended seminars in different cities, participated in educational events, shows, and exhibitions. I also worked with Londa and Lakme products.

When I moved to Ireland, I initially didn't immediately start working in a salon. For a while, I contemplated trying my hand in a different field. So, I decided to enroll in college to study business and improve my English. However, I couldn't let go of my dream of advancing in the beauty industry. After completing college, I returned to work at a beauty salon and worked there for 3.5 years. It was a valuable experience where I used Keune cosmetics and received regular training from the brand. Famous stylists from different countries also visited the salon to conduct masterclasses on complex coloring techniques and haircuts.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I didn't lose hope. During this time, I used my time very productively, attending numerous online webinars by renowned stylists on coloring techniques, balayage, AIR TOUCH technique, modern haircuts, safe methods for transitioning from black hair, and completing extensive online courses on advanced coloring techniques and color theory.

After the pandemic, I joined the amazing KORTELL House of Beauty salon. Here, I utilize professional cosmetic products from Keune, Schwarzkoph, and Milk shake. I constantly strive to improve my skills, recently attending an in-person colorist course by Keune and participating in a color architecture masterclass in Warsaw. I also keep up with top stylists and stay updated on new trends in coloring and haircuts. I never stop learning and continue to grow in my field.

I am kind, fair, and cheerful. I easily connect with people and motivate them. I am friendly, responsive, and engaging in conversation. I have many friends and acquaintances. I dislike lies and betrayal, and I am always loyal to my friends. My favorite hobbies include dancing, sports, traveling, outdoor walks, and spending time with family and friends.

I absolutely love life and I make my clients happy every day by creating beauty for them. I am thrilled to be part of the KORTELL House of Beauty team.
